Ok since Guyver has kicked me out of his thread i have to start my own

I'm intending to stick to my colour theme of Black, Red, and Silver, in that order
any ideas will be welcome.

this will be my colour scheme...
Red drive bays, I'll paint the part silver that i wanted to replace with perspex, and the rest will be black.

You need to use some car putty to make some crazy shapes, like a building from Far Cry 2 or something.

Or go full hog and grab some PVC piping and turn it into a model of a 30mm anti-materiel sniper rifle! The case could be the rifle's receiver.

well after 4 days... it looks like a pigs bum

i need to touch up some of it and then i will need to paint my drives black.... but i may aswell just put a different pc into it and buy a good case when i get money.

Higher res pics please? Also, what primer did you use on the front, plastic bezel? And I assume you used etch primer on the metal bits?

i used a self priming paint. and i used a primer on the plastic. [thanx dad for all the help].

i just did a bit more work on the front and got rid of the white bits on the front.

just need to paint my DVD and CD drives and will put everything in the case.

If you have the spare cash you might as well upgrate to new black coloured drivers etc.

the point of painting the case instead of buying one is cause i don't have any cash

i have started painting the test drive... looks ok so far...

I have just painted the last piece. Only have to wait for it all to dry and i can start the operation

I'd have suggested buying a cheap CM case before spending money on paint - you should mod functional cases... not really worth it otherwise.

that dent is where you grab it to pull the side off

this is going to be my case till i get money to buy a case... prety much everything was Liberated anyway.... thankx dad for having such a big stockpile... and working in the DNT department at the school

Hey, I was just thinking that I would love to see someone rig a box fan into the side of their PC case.

Can you say 'superior cooling'?

I am thinking that the case should be made of slats with foam filters to allow air to come in, and the box fan should actually be pushing air out of the case. The effect would basically be cross-ventilation.

EDIT: Wait, the thing actually exists in commercial form! It's called an AeroCool AeroRacer case, and the fan on the side runs at 12db at 400rpm and moves 250cfm. Were you thinking about this case?

i did some streamlining on the cables.

Im looking into some extra bits and pieces for my spare 5.25" slots... card reader things and cooling devices....
i also need a 120mm exhaust fan....

put the whole case on feet and chuck in an 80mm intake fan on the bottom where the mounting holes are
